Finally we have not one CD but two, they've been likened to a bus in that you wait for ages and two turn up together.
First came, "Time To Rock" on "Foot Tapping Records", which includes many songs that have been requested over
past years. A few days later we took delivery of, "Something For Everyone" which was a collaberation between us and
"Johnny Earl". We had great fun making both and built up a good friendship with Johnny, on occasions we manage to
get out to do alive show together.
We've been going out as a four piece for the last year and a half, this was due to Inge having health problems. It was a
bit touch and go at one stage, very serious. Although she's much better now it has prevented her from returning to the
stage. A life on the road is very demanding and if you can't maintain energy levels you just can't physically do it. Maybe
that will change further down the line, we certainly hope so.
We hope to be starting another sax player in the new year, she is very keen and we think she will fit in well. Her name
is Miranda and she is not seen as a replacement for Inge but more as an additional band member. Although she's not
playing Inge is still in charge of bookings etc. so if you want to engage our services it is most likely that you will be
dealing with her. Ofcourse if Inge does make a full recovery you might see two saxes on some jobs, who knows what
lies ahead 8-) ...
The main thing is that we're still getting great enjoyment from playing, being out there where it counts meeting
friends old and new. You all take care, be lucky and as always we thank everyone for thier support ...
